FOUNDER & PRESIDENT, COALITION OF DIASPORIC AFRICANS

George is a visionary leader, passionate advocate, and dedicated champion of African diasporic communities. As the founder and president of the Coalition of Diasporic Africans, George has spearheaded a movement to unite, educate, empower, and amplify the voices of Africans across the globe.

George brings over five years of experience in community development, advocacy, and leadership. Before founding the Coalition, he worked with various organizations, including Community Health Link, Washburn House, Worcester Recovery Center and Hospital, and Spectrum Health, Inc., where George played a key role in direct patient care and community outreach, facilitating psychoeducation, clinical and process groups, and providing individualized counseling for substance abuse and mental health patients.

FOUNDING THE COALITION

Driven by the desire to address the unique challenges faced by diasporic Africans, George and his co-founders established the Coalition of Diasporic Africans in 2024. Under George and his team’s guidance, the organization has grown into a vibrant network of individuals and groups working together to promote cultural exchange, education, economic empowerment, and social justice.

 

COLLABORATION & CREATIVITY

George seeks to collaborate with partners and stakeholders to explore the transformative potential of creativity in effecting social change. By examining contemporary issues and their historical contexts, George and his team continue to work to educate, promote social justice, and economic and social equity.
